Corey Barak, Solver’s Chief Operating Officer, put out data insight tools to the test with data related to the ASCEND event.
“In the past decade, ASCEND has undergone significant growth. Employees regularly sought me out for a wide array of conference data. They’d want to know if specific customers or partners had registered, how our event budget looked, which training classes were nearly at capacity, attendee counts broken down by ERP, and more.”
With all these requests on his to-do list, Corey went ahead and created a custom reporting module that could satisfy all these requests. It included things such as financial reporting attributes, attendees’ names, titles, confirmation numbers, how they heard of the event, which sessions they planned to attend, and training classes.
After implementing this reporting module, Corey was able to reduce the number of email requests and facilitate comprehensive analysis. The best part? The entire Solver team could access these reports and Solver could optimize ASCEND’s pricing strategies, prioritize training topics, and elevate on-site experiences.
