It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Ryan Steigerwald on December 6, 2021.
Ryan Steigerwald was Senior Director, Channels at Lockstep and an active member in our community. Ryan had an impactful career in the ERP channel and worked at multiple fast-growing technology companies, including Avalara, YayPay, and Sana Commerce, before joining Lockstep in 2021.
Ryan was a bright light throughout the ERP community and always had a smile on his face. He was a kind soul and a beautiful human being. He touched so many of our lives in a positive way and was taken from us far too soon. For those of us who had the opportunity to work alongside Ryan, we can attest to the lasting impact he made in our lives, and his legacy will surely live on through those who knew him.
Ryan leaves behind his wife and young son. A GoFundMe page has been set up in his honor to help support his family during this difficult time.
To commemorate him, acu-connect will be creating an annual award in his honor called “The Steigy Award,” which will first be awarded at the acu-connect session at Acumatica Summit 2022 in January. Steigy was the nickname Ryan’s closest friends in the channel called him, and we look forward to helping keep this nickname alive.
